EPSS (Emergency Physician Staffing Solutions)  is a privately physician owned, Emergency Medicine staffing company committed to providing quality health care in the communities we serve in Central and Northern Illinois.  Our mission and priority is to provide a stable, professional and engaging work environment for our physicians.  

We are currently seeking physicians who would like to join our team for full or part time commitment.   Opportunities are available within all our sites for committed physicians,  in rural and urban health care settings,  with ED volume site range from 40,000 to combined Emergency Medicine/hospitalist services in critical access hospitals with annual volume of 2500 - 7500 patients per year.

Emergency Medicine Position Spotlight

• Carle Health Proctor Hospital -Peoria; Carle Health Pekin Hospital-  Illinois 
  • EPSS is currently seeking EM physician for FT/PT coverage for combined site staffing. 
  • Independent Contractor Status: Excellent compensation direct to physician
  • Carle Health Proctor 19K ED volume,  Carle Health Pekin 23K ED volume
  • Physician single coverage; 3 shifts per day with APP coverage
  • Excellent support service and staff;  EMR: EPIC
  • ABEM board certification/eligible or IM/FP board certified with ABPS certification and EM experience

• OSF St. Luke Hospital, Kewanee
  • EPSS is currently seeking EM physician coverage for 11K volume critical access ED
  • Independent Contractor Status: Excellent compensation direct to physician
  • Physician single coverage; flexible 12hr or 24hr shift coverage; EMR : EPIC
  • Location easily accessed from Rockford, Chicago and Springfield for block travel
  • Excellent support services, hospitalist and surgery, 24hr radiology coverage
  • ABEM board Certification/eligible;  IM/FP/ABPS board certified with EM experience

  • EPSS is currently seeking EM physician coverage for 5K volume critical access ED
  • Independent Contractor Status: Excellent compensation direct to physician
  • Physician single coverage; flexible 12hr or 24hr shift coverage
  • Location easily accessed from Springfield, Peoria, Lincoln, and Champaign
  • ABEM board Certification/eligible;  IM/FP/ABPS board certified with EM experience
