Description
The Division of Hospital Medicine at Michigan Medicine is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine physicians to join one of the largest and most collaborative academic hospitalist programs in the country. Our group includes 160+ hospitalists and 65+ advanced practice providers working across 10 unique services, offering diverse care models and career paths.
We are looking for candidates who thrive in a team-based environment and are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care while contributing to the mission of academic medicine. Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with ACLS certification required by the start date.
Opportunities Include:
- We offer Nocturnist, Hybrid, and Regular Faculty roles: physicians 0-2 years post-residency are eligible for Nocturnist or Hybrid positions, while those with 3+ years post-residency may also be considered for Regular Faculty roles (primary days/evenings with some nights).
- Flexibility to change roles annually based on your interests, life circumstances, and divisional needs
- Engagement in direct patient care, teaching, and scholarship, including participating in quality improvement and patient safety efforts

Requirements
- Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- ACLS certification required by start date.
Compensation
Salary starts at $205,000 plus comprehensive benefits, with progression based on years post-residency and academic rank.
